⚠️ High Tides Warning ⚠️
Monmouthsire council are monitering and will close the A466 through Tintern, if necessary between the times & dates below 👇
Saturday 28th September 20.20 – 20.50 approx
Sunday 29th 08.50 – 09.20 approx & again between 21.10 – 21.40 approx
Monday 30th 09.35 – 10.05 approx & again between 21.50 – 22.20 approx
Tuesday 1st October 10.15 – 10.45 approx & again between 22.30 – 23.00 approx
All these times are all approximate & are estimated based on the forecasted tide times.
The road closure as usual - North end closure: Trelleck Road junction, & South end closure: Royal George junction.
Paul Easton locksmiths will still be able to get through to you in Tintern if this road is closed by coming down through Hewelsfield or the Devauden road depending on which side of Tintern you are located.
It may take a little longer than normal but we can get through.
